Alexandros is a writer, educator, and researcher from Queens, New York. His cultural and political commentary has been featured in NPR, Complex Mag, TruthOut, The Huffington Post, and In These Times.

Alexandros was previously a New York City public school teacher in Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx – where he currently resides. He holds a BA in History from the College of Mount St. Vincent, an MS.Ed in Education from Brooklyn College, and an MA in Political Science from the City University of New York – Graduate Center.

He is a PhD student at Stanford’s Graduate School of Education with a concentration in Race, Inequality, and Language in Education and a Graduate Fellow at Stanford’s Center for the Comparative Study of Race and Ethnicity.
